What Should I Tweet Today?

There are a lot of places people find information to tweet about. Social bookmarking sites such as Digg, Delicious and a few others are good places to start. You can search for a topic, find something interesting the tweet it.

For those who don’t quite know what this, here is a quick over view. Social bookmarking is a website or service which saves a link to a website you want to revisit. If you think of social bookmarking like the favorites or bookmarks in your web browser. The main difference aside from them being stored online, is you can share them with other people in your network.

Sites like Digg, Delicious, Stumbleupon, Reddit, Propeller and Newsvine are just a few. Some have a niche, some are very broad. One thing they have in common is the ability to associate the bookmarked website with a “tag”.

There is a newer site dedicated to giving you interesting links to send out to all of your loyal followers, Stufftotweet.

As you can see, the layout is pretty simple to navigate through. There are columns which have popular articles from each of the sites.

Using a site like this will give you something interesting to post if you are lacking ideas. They are also a great place to keep up on what is being talked about in the world.

News Sites

New breaking news is always happening. With access to all of the news sites out there, there is always something of interest to post. it makes no difference whether it be local, national or global.

Your Interests

The main thing you want to keep in mind, is to create posts with your own interests. This will help people with like interests find you. If you only give news updates or very random things, it will be harder for personality come through.
